Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 June 2026
This policy explains what data CoreTools collects, what it never collects, and the choices you have. The short version: your files are processed entirely inside your browser and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. The rest of this page covers the small amount of data the site does handle — analytics, cookies, advertising and the contact form.
1. Your files never leave your device
Every tool on this site — compression, resizing, signature preparation, background removal and all others — runs locally using your browser's own processing. When you drop an image into a tool, no upload request is made; the file is read into your device's memory, processed there, and the result is saved back to your device. We have no server that receives files, no storage that retains them, and no ability to see them. You can confirm this at any time by opening your browser's developer tools (Network tab) while using any tool.
2. What we do collect
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which tools are used and how the site performs (pages visited, approximate region, device type, and anonymised interaction events such as "tool used" or "result viewed"). Analytics never receives your files, file names, or the contents of anything you type into a tool. IP addresses are processed by Google Analytics and are not stored by us. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Contact form
If you use our contact form, your name, email address and message are transmitted to and processed by Formspree, our form provider, and delivered to us by email. We use this information only to respond to you. We do not add you to mailing lists or share this data with anyone else. See Formspree's privacy policy for how they handle submissions.
Local storage on your device
Some preferences — and, if you purchase a Pro upgrade, your licence key — are stored in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and is removed if you clear your browser data.
3. Advertising and cookies
When advertising goes live on this site, ads will be served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to show you ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info. Where required by your region's law (such as the EEA or UK), a consent banner will ask for your permission before any advertising cookies are set.
4. Affiliate links
Some tools display a clearly marked recommendation for a relevant product or service. If you click one of these links and make a purchase or sign up, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Every such block carries a disclosure line. Affiliate partners do not receive any data about you from us — only the standard fact that a visitor arrived from our site.
5. What we never do
- We never upload, view, store or transmit your files.
- We never sell or rent personal data.
- We never require an account to use any tool.
- We never embed trackers beyond those named on this page (Google Analytics, and Google AdSense once ads are live).
6. Children
This site is a general-audience utility service and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only place personal information can be submitted is the contact form.
7. Your rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold. In practice the only personal data we hold is contact-form correspondence — email us via the contact form and we will delete your correspondence on request.
8. Changes to this policy
If our data practices change — for example when advertising goes live — this page will be updated and the date at the top revised. Material changes will be noted here rather than silently edited.
