About CoreTools

Last updated: 12 June 2026

CoreTools is a suite of 18 free image and document tools that run entirely inside your browser. Nothing you drop into a tool here — photos, signatures, scanned documents — is ever uploaded to a server, because there is no server doing the work. Your own device's processor compresses the image, resizes the signature, or removes the background, and the result is downloaded straight from memory.

Why we built it this way

Most online image tools work by uploading your file, processing it in a data centre, and sending it back. That model is slow on Indian mobile networks and uncomfortable when the file is your passport photo or your signature — documents tied directly to your identity. A browser-native approach removes both problems: processing starts instantly, works on a weak connection once the page is loaded, and your files physically never leave your device. You can verify this yourself — open your browser's network tab while using any tool and watch: no file upload request is ever made.

How we keep exam specifications accurate

Our exam tools resize photos, signatures, thumb impressions and declarations to the exact pixel and kilobyte requirements published by SSC, UPSC, IBPS, NEET, GATE and JEE. These specifications change between recruitment cycles, so we re-verify every value against the current official notification or portal guideline and stamp the verification date on the tool itself. The full process — which sources count as official, how ranges are interpreted, what happens when a notification is ambiguous — is documented on our methodology page. If a spec changes before we catch it, tell us and we correct it within days, not months.

How the site earns money

CoreTools is free and intends to stay free. The site is supported three ways: advertising, affiliate recommendations (always marked with a disclosure line, and we only recommend products in categories relevant to the tool you just used), and optional Pro upgrades for power features like batch processing. The core function of every tool — compressing one image, resizing one signature — is never paywalled and never will be. None of these revenue sources sees your files, because your files never leave your browser in the first place.

Who runs this

CoreTools is independently built and maintained from Gujarat, India — no content farm, no outsourced tool factory. Every formula, every preset and every line of copy on this site is reviewed by the same person who answers the contact form. Found a bug, a wrong spec, or a tool you wish existed? That form reaches a human who can actually fix it.
